Learning Loft Consulting and Advising, LLC is an independent platform connecting students, adults, and career explorers with experienced professionals who provide personalized, one-on-one guidance. We believe that people navigating major life and career decisions deserve access to real expertise — and that experienced professionals deserve a space to share that expertise on their own terms.

We are currently building our foundational Mentor network and are looking for seasoned professionals who are ready to leverage their experience, support real people in meaningful ways, and build something sustainable — on their own terms.

About the Opportunity

 As a Learning Loft Mentor, you will have the freedom to shape your own mentorship practice. You define your expectations, set your own rate, and choose the commitment structure that works for you. Learning Loft provides the platform, drives clients to you, and handles administrative infrastructure — so you can focus on doing what you do best.

This is not a traditional job. This is an opportunity to build something of your own while doing work that matters.

What You Will Do

• Provide ongoing, personalized mentorship to clients in your professional field via phone or virtual appointment

• Maintain a minimum of 2 contacts per month with each active mentee

• Set your own monthly rate at or above the platform baseline of $45 per month

• Define your own mentee expectations — including preparation, goal-setting, and communication preferences

• Choose your preferred engagement structure: month-to-month, or a minimum commitment of 3, 6, or more months

• Maintain an accurate and up-to-date profile on the Learning Loft platform

• Uphold Learning Loft’s baseline standards of professionalism, integrity, and client-centered practice

Who We Are Looking For

• A minimum of 10 years of professional experience in your field

• A genuine passion for helping others grow, navigate challenges, and reach their goals

• Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with diverse clients

• Professionalism, reliability, and integrity in all client interactions

• A desire to build an independent practice and create sustainable supplemental or primary income

• Experience working with justice-impacted individuals is a plus — we have a dedicated division serving this population

Compensation Details

• Base monthly rate: $45 per month, per mentee (you set your own rate at or above this)

• Mentors set their own pricing — your rate reflects your expertise, your field, and the value you bring

• Flexible engagement structures allow you to build stable, recurring income

• All mentors are engaged as independent contractors (1099) and are responsible for their own taxes
