Welcome! I’m a higher education and experiential learning leader passionate about building meaningful connections to support a diverse group of scholars: traditional/non-traditional students, emerging professionals, and mid-career professionals who are on a journey to pivot careers! Both my 15+ year higher-ed background and personal career experience have helped me to understand the everyday person and what it takes to be motivated for success--often times it starts with understanding you don't know what you don't know. From there, I meet people where they are to build trust, so that I can tailor my advising and coaching techniques to nurture each person's individual journey. I’m excited to bring my experience to the Learning Loft platform to empower others and support individuals in building pathways toward their career and educational goals. When I'm not supporting students and emerging professionals, I enjoy reality TV, music and comedy concerts, and interior design. From the inception of my career, I’ve worked within the entertainment industry, corporate business, and higher-education. With all of these areas combined, it has supported my 15+ year career in higher education, resulting in high-level student success, effective workforce development initiatives, leadership coaching, and enhanced entertainment-industry engagement—designing programs and building partnerships. These efforts have helped emerging talent successfully navigate career pathways in business, media, entertainment, and creative sectors. My work sits at the intersection of education, industry relations, student experience, and strategic collaboration.
Currently working for a film school, my background includes working with both traditional and non-traditional students in higher education (virtual/in-person), through coaching and advising, employer engagement, workforce development, training facilitation, and strategic program operations. I’m known for being collaborative, relationship-driven, adaptable, and deeply committed to helping individuals and organizations grow through thoughtful engagement and innovation.
Areas of specialty include career readiness and workforce development objectives in general or for individuals in creative industries, early career and professional coaching & advising, experiential education/internship support, entertainment industry relations, student success strategy, and leadership development.
